Here at Connection Church Elgin our vision is to see every life changed by the Gospel one step at a time.

We believe discipleship is a lifelong process, which has led us to design a discipleship pathway. It is a map that guides us toward spiritual maturity.

First, we believe God wants you to DISCOVER his son, Jesus Christ. The first step for you to experience Jesus at Connection Church Elgin is during our Sunday morning worship experiences. Each Sunday you will experience songs about Jesus, prayers about Jesus, and preaching about Jesus.

Next, attending a worship service is important for spiritual maturity but we believe it is best to grow with others. This is why we believe small groups are essential for us to DEVELOP our faith. We have two options for you to develop your faith with others: Wednesday night small groups, and DGROUPS.

Lastly, attending worship and small groups are crucial but we also believe you grow best when you DEPLOY your gifts into the church and the world. In other words, the people who are growing the most in our church are people who are discovering Jesus in a worship service, developing their faith in a small group, and deploying their gifts into the church and world by serving.

How do we plan on seeing every life changed by the Gospel one step at a time? We will see this vision come to life by asking people to follow our discipleship pathway: DISCOVER, DEVELOP, and DEPLOY.
